Non-Profit Website Redevelopment

The Process

IMG reviewed several WordPress templates and found multiple we thought were ideal for this non-profit site. Once presented, DaHunt for the Cure selected our first template choice and we began to build the site.

We repurposed the content that existed on their current site and made a list of items we needed from DaHunt. We used the most recent event’s professional photography throughout the site, which brought the pages to life.

A call-to-action (CTA) banner was added on all pages, providing the user with the upcoming event dates, a register now button and access to the event flyer. Charities and sponsors logos were prominently displayed on the homepage with links to inner pages. New videos and photos were showcased in a gallery page, using functionality to allow the user to view by “year”.

DaHunt for the Cure has another website where event participants and sponsors can register and donate. We linked the two sites together with a Register Now CTA and updated the second website with the most current images and content.

The Result

Charlie and Diane, the founders of DaHunt for the Cure were thrilled with their new site. The content is now current, the appearance more inviting, and the user experience improved with a more defined navigation and CTAs on every page.

Updating the new WordPress site on the backend is now user friendly and since it requires updating annually; adding in new photos, sponsors, charities and the event flyer, does not require coding, resulting in a more cost efficient process.
