Written by Nick Simard on 11.17.17

The cost per thousand impressions, commonly referred to as the "CPM." It refers to a pricing structure used in both traditional and digital media in which advertisers pay whenever an ad is shown and not charged for clicks.

CPM is the cost incurred for every 1,000 views of an advertisement.

A $2 CPM indicates that the cost per 1,000 views is $2
